“Celebrating BC’s Fishing Culture Through Film and Photography”
Fishing BC is excited to once again be running a fishing film and photo contest for 2024.
Our motivation for hosting this contest is to encourage aspiring filmmakers and photographers to share fishing stories from around the province and celebrate BC’s fishing culture through film and photography.
Top film and photo selections will be featured through Fishing BC’s social platforms. The top films will also have a chance to be featured on the Sportsman Channel Canada.
Contest Categories
Top Film Prize of a $5000 Fishing BC Film Contract
The winning 3 minute film category submission will be awarded a Fishing BC film contract to produce a feature in 2025.
Top Short Short Film Category Prize
The winning submission to the short short film category will receive a Fishing BC Vacation Package to the Fishing Highway 24 in the Cariboo
Chilcotin Coast.
Top Photo Prize of a $1000 Fishing BC Photo Contract
The winning photo essay submission will be awarded a Fishing BC photography contract to produce a photo essay in 2025. As well as swag from Fishing BC and other contest partners.
