Remote Rivers near Prince George

Explore new waters with April Vokey and Northern Outback Adventures

On the many pristine backcountry rivers near Prince George, it pays to be ready for something different. So when April Vokey saw grayling sipping the surface of a river she came to with bull trout in mind, she knew there only one thing to do. She busted out a dry line, changed flies and tactics, and spent time experiencing the majestic beauty of a unique and beautiful sport fish.

“It was cool to see two totally different species — two totally different ways of fishing — living together in the same system,” said April. “Today I enjoyed fishing for grayling almost as much as I did fishing for the bull trout.”
