Secluded Fishing Adventure in Prince George, BC

Re-connect with nature in Northern, BC

Outside the modestly-sized city of Prince George lies a handful of highly productive lakes and rivers that offer ample opportunity for catching both wild and stocked rainbow trout. Angling pressure in the northern reaches of the province is minimal in comparison to its southern counterparts, with many lakes and rivers seeing very light traffic throughout the course of the open water season.

Like many guides and professionals in the fly fishing industry, Jerry Daoust was an avid angler that found himself fulfilled more by watching others enjoy their experience on the water than keeping it all to himself. This was what prompted him to launch Reel North Adventures, based out of Prince George itself.

Anglers that prefer moving over still water fishing are presented with a plethora of opportunities to find bull trout, rainbow trout and grayling. Prince George’s proximity to the Terrace region places it within a day’s drive of some of the province’s greatest Steelhead rivers.

“Being out on the boat, on the lake or on the river, there is truly no other feeling like it; it forces you to re-connect with yourself”
